Butter, pastry flour. buttermilk, salt, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, a.p. flour, powdered sugar, granny smith apples, cinnamon, orange zest, cranberries, corn starch, canned blueberries, tapioca, almond extract, active dry yeast.

SUMMARY
Today we learned about the methods to making and baking a pie dough and what exactly to do for a mealy or flaky crust. We also touched base on trouble shooting for pies to realize what might have gone wrong in the process.
PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS
If a harder crust is desired, be sure to pre bake the pie dough and make sure there is as little liquid in the filling as possible. If too watery, cook it down or add a starch to thicken it up.
